• Report to project manager regularly
• Communicate with clients when necessary
• Must have your own transportation
• Must have a minimum of 3 years experience as a Lead Painter

NOTE: This position is full time. Do not apply if you are not able to commit at least 40 hours per week.

A Lead Painter is responsible for overseeing painting projects, ensuring quality workmanship, and managing a team of painters. Their duties typically include:

• Project Coordination: Planning and organizing painting tasks, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Supervision: Leading a team of painters, delegating tasks, and providing guidance to maintain efficiency and quality.
• Surface Preparation: Inspecting and preparing surfaces by cleaning, sanding, priming, and patching to ensure a smooth finish.
• Application of Paints & Coatings: Using various techniques to apply paint, stain, or protective coatings to surfaces such as walls, ceilings, and exteriors.
• Quality Control: Ensuring all work meets industry and safety standards, addressing any imperfections or customer concerns.
• Safety Compliance: Enforcing safety protocols, proper use of equipment, and handling hazardous materials responsibly.
• Communication: Coordinating with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure project requirements and expectations are met.
• Inventory & Equipment Management: Maintaining painting supplies, tools, and equipment to ensure efficient job execution.
• Project manager communication: Regularly updating the project manager on the team's progress, performance, and any challenges encountered.
